2 weigh pads are connected to a multi-function digital indicator in an axle weighing system and the weighing is done axle wise. The first axle is weighed and the weight is recorded, the vehicle moves forward and then the next axle is weighed and weight recorded and so on. After all the axles are weighed, the system calculates the total weight. Axle weighing is done when approximate weight is checked and accurate weight is not required.
